The EDINT network of territories and companies gathered at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2025

The EDINT project concluded its participation in the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona with a workshop that brought together representatives from the Ministry, FEMP, RECI, twelve local entities, and a group of technology companies committed to the development of urban data spaces.

During the session, moderated by Daniel Vega and Marta Maríán de Diego, a collaborative dynamic was held addressing three key use cases: mobility, urban service management, and economic-commercial activity.

Companies such as PUMSA, Pavapark, SICE, Kapsch TrafficCom, Aigües de Mataró, Nunsys, Cibernos, Anphis, Betipo, Libelium, Mindait (Indra Group), and Suma Info participated, sharing their experience and proposals on how data can drive more efficient, sustainable, and connected cities.

Dialogue, knowledge, and international alliances

Beyond the workshop, a collaboration agreement was signed during the morning between FEMP and the ITU (International Telecommunication Union), a step forward in the project’s global perspective that highlights the role of data in creating digital solutions that improve mobility, public service management, and competitiveness from a local standpoint.
